Abstract

This article examines the key aspects of translating scientific
texts from Uzbek into Russian and vice versa. It analyzes the theoretical foundations of scientific translation, including the categories of
equivalence, adequacy, and terminological accuracy. Particular attention is paid to the practical difficulties associated with differences in the grammatical structure, terminology, and style of scientific discourse in the two languages. Specific translation examples are provided, illustrating typical
errors and ways to overcome them.
